About the Cedar SidingTwo types of cedar are available for siding.
The first is Western Red Cedar which is very common in the home improvement stores and comes from the northwestern US or southern Canada. I use this type of cedar on most of the playhouses and chicken coops. The second is Eastern Red Cedar which is locally milled in this area. I use this type of cedar for the sheds and deer blinds. The prices listed on the website are based on these two types of cedar. Other types of siding can be used if you have another preference. The cost may be more or less than what is quoted under "Pricing" depending on the type of siding you choose. Without a coat of sealer, cedar will turn to a silver-gray color. Some like this look, but if you want to maintain the original cedar color, a clear coat of sealant is necessary, which I do offer (see "Pricing"). I will gladly build structures using regular pine siding or 4x8 panels if you like, but will leave priming and painting to you. | LocationWe are located in Sealy, Texas which is about 20 minutes west of Katy on I-10 and Hwy 36.
795 Trenckmann Rd Sealy, TX 77474 Payment OptionsRight now I only accept cash or check. Cash is always preferred.
Payment is due on delivery. No down payment is ever required unless the building is a custom order, or the order is over $2,000. Lead TimeI usually need about 7 to 10 days from the time the order is placed to complete a building and have it ready for pick-up or delivery. The time required may be less or more depending on the size of your order, the assembly time required, and the current orders I may have to complete before starting on yours.

Delivery and SetupWe delivery and setup within about a 200 mile radius. Delivery to Houston, San Antonio and Austin are typical. Delivery fees range from $100 to $300 depending on the travel distance from Sealy, and the estimated setup time determined by the size of the structure.
Bricks are necessary for leveling which is the only thing you will need to provide. Regular house bricks work fine in most cases, however on larger buildings we'll need to discuss leveling requirements on a case by case basis. | If you decide to pick up your order...If you're planning on picking up your building and assembling it yourself, you'll need a standard utility trailer and some ratchet style tie-down straps. I'll go over the assembly process with you until you are comfortable with each step. Then I'll help you load each section onto your trailer and get it securely strapped down for the ride home.
