Wharton, TXI think grandmothers sometimes get more excited than the grandkids about Christmas. The kids are not going to see this playhouse until Christmas day. I think Grandma might be celabrating by putting all kids gifts in the playhouse, maybe with a little Christmas tree in there too. The kids will be opening gifts in the their own little house. I think that would be a very memorable day for sure...
Is it a treehouse? It's probably closer to a house in the trees, than a treehouse.
We set this up in Conroe on Saturday and it took us almost 4 hours to complete the assembly. The house is 6' wide by 8' deep, and has a wrap around porch all on a 6' tower. Bunk beds are inside with trap door access through the floor and a hidden compartment in the floor as well. The tall post out in front is set up to attach a pully with rope and a basket or bucket. This was alot more involved than what I normally do. But hey, when you enjoy what you do, it just makes it all the more fun! (Click on the pic for a larger view.) |
