How to Buy a Playhouse
Many parents and grandparents when considering a playhouse think the playhouse they buy should be as much like a real house as possible, complete with fully functional aluminum windows, electricity, A/C units, finished hardwood floors, carpet, paint, trim, sheetrock walls and 30 year shingles. Unfortunately, playhouses that are built like real houses cost about as much as a real house per square foot.
And the similarities don’t end there. I see lot’s of really nice playhouses that people bought and cannot sell because it would cost such an enormous amount to move it to another location and often require heavy equipment. Most people just don't have the time and just can’t afford to do that.
Also, playhouses that are built like real houses don’t leave much to the imagination for the young guys. In fact, to them it just feels like they’re playing in a small version of a real house, which isn’t much different than being in the real thing.
Don’t waste your money on expensive playhouses that cost between $3,000 and $40,000. Your kids are only going to be young a little while, so buy a playhouse that makes sense. Buy a playhouse that you don’t have to worry about getting dirty, one that is maintenance free, and one that lets the little guys use their imagination.
Brad’s playhouses are playhouses that your children can make mud pies in. With the spray of a water hose you can wash it all away and everyone will be ready for the next adventure. Our playhouses are easy to assemble and disassemble so you can take it with you when you have to move. Or, if you need to sell it you can do so quickly and easily since no heavy equipment is required and no additional moving costs are necessary.
Just a few thoughts. Hope this helps.
